Deconsolidate a Shipment

Open the source shipment

1. Open the shipment detail page for the shipment that currently holds the goods lines.
2. Go to the Goods tab.
3. Confirm the shipment has at least two goods lines if you want to move goods into a new shipment.

Split the goods line if needed

Use the split action first when only part of a goods line should move into the new shipment.

1. Split the goods line so the quantity being moved is isolated on its own line.
2. Confirm the new goods line was created before continuing.

Create the new shipment from selected goods

1. Select the goods lines that should move into the new shipment.
2. Use the shipment creation action from the goods workflow to create the new shipment from those selected lines.
3. Open the success link to review the new shipment and confirm the Shipment Lineage section reflects the deconsolidation.
